Well another trip to Wisconsin to camp with our daughter and her boy friend. Three nights four days. Selected to stay at Skyhigh Campground Resort, its more of a party place than campground. We had a great time but too many people partying and units too close together. On our way north stopped at the Famous (not really) Wisconsin Cow Monument.
Its an Utter landmark!
Stayed at site #146 nice level site with water and electricity. This is one Thursday evening when we arrived. Set up by 6 p.m.
Nice perk was they have a grill at the main lodge that delivers to the campsites, great idea, particularly if you have worked all day driven 3.5 hours set up camp, so enjoyed a very nutritious meal!
Carolyn and Brandon arrived on Thursday night and set up just before dark, coffee on Friday morning.
Breakfast Quiche in morning, I love cooking with my dutch oven.
If you've been to Baraboo Wisconsin and not visited the Circus Museum, you need to put that on your things to do list. Because of COVID we didn't get to see many of the in door displays but what we saw was incredible. It was a 2 hour walking tour and covered the history of primarily the Barnum and Bailey Circus, Baraboo WI was their home base.
Carolyn got attacked by an alligator...of course putting your head isn't such a smart idea...its Carolyn!
They have the largest collection of Circus Wagons in the world, its absolutely stunning.
After the Circus Museum, went to downtown Barboo to the Tin Cup for Ice Cream, its an old ice Cream Parlor a great place!
Chicken Enchiladas for supper Saturday night, and the party crowd has moved in.
Biscuts and Gravy and Eggs for Breakfast..
Our Saturday afternoon activity was an Escape Room and we escaped, lots to do in Baraboo WI, home of the Wisconsin Dells...
A well deserved dinner at the Supper Club Cinaroli's in Portage WI. Great weekend love the area will be back just not to SkyHigh Camping resort..
