MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND 2018

Arrived in Nacedah at 2045 hrs

Stayed at CampInn Plant. Had electric and a bath compliments of Cary

Several upgrades done to WAKL-E sche kduled for tomorrow.

Breakfast next day, Fiday at the Little Crane Cafe...also lunch aye too much.

After visiting Missy's friend Karen in Lacrosse returned to CampInn around 2:30 P.M. Still busy at it...even the boss Craig involved.

Added a advanced battery monitor, exchange 1.25 hitch for a 2", fix a small furnace issue, and added a new battery monitor. Hopefully that covers it, also upgraded axle at no charge.

Can't wait to get the bill for this...

Still a furnace problem..going to be a late night. Finally at almost dark we had to call it a night.  too dark and too many mosquito, but mission accomplished. Off to Madison to meet up with

Tom and Diane.

                                 Made it to Madison and met Tom and Diane.  Stayed 

at a county park called Farm Camp something.  Very Nice area and well maintained small and quiet.

Sorry didn't take alot of pictures.  But spent the next couple of days touring the area by bike and car.  the area does have several bike paths that run from the camp area into Madison.  Everything here is well maintained and very quiet.  Great area for families.

Spent the entire holiday weekend  here.  Other than being extremely hot for Memorial Day it was a great weekend.

End of a long day..great weekend.

It's been a long winter

WALL-E was all preped and snuggled away for the winter. 2018 travels are being planned as we speak. he was all cleaned and winterized and backed into the garage for the winter. Antifreeze in water lines, backed in tight with all the other summer toys packed around him. All food was been removed and it's been just a waiting game. Waiting for the warm weather and thaw...will spring ever arrive?

Cold Weather Addition...

We have been using the Eureka Northern Breeze Shelter for primarily cold and or rainey weather.  The trailer is back into the shelter however not able to effectively shut out the weather so having an insert made to eliminate this problem....stay tuned....

Need to make some changes by adding additional material to fender area.

Arrived Thursday at 6 p.m. set up in dark. Hopefully got it all right, could be a wet cold weekend. 70's when we arrived!

Didn't loon too bad next morning but temp changed to 40 and lite rain during the night.

Spent Friday exploring area, AKA shopping, and a short nap before supper in Elizabeth, IL @ Welcome Inn, it was just o.k. got a fire going waiting game for our friends Tom and Diane.
